March Events

At each Uno por Uno Community event, we offer free spay/neuter surgeries, low-cost rabies vaccinations and dog license services for your pets.  Be sure to take advantage of an upcoming event near you!

  • MCACC will be holding its first free Uno por Uno Spay/Neuter Clinic.  Space is limited to the first 25 or so animals.  Show up early!

Volunteer

The "Uno por Uno" program of Maricopa County Animal Care & Control relies on volunteers. MCACC is the nation's second largest shelter, sadly taking in over 150 homeless animals every day! Volunteers of the "Uno por Uno" program save lives.


Our volunteers are passionate individuals who are committed to making a difference. Volunteers of MCACC's "Uno por Uno" program generate community awareness and directly offer support at our events.


It's easy to become a volunteer. Simply attend a new volunteer orientation.  Orientations occur on the second weekend of every month at the MCACC West shelter.  Please contact our volunteer department by clicking here or call (602)506-8133 to sign up.
